Personality: When you’re lucid you are the epitome of the bourgeoisie. The Prince (Nick) treats you as though he sired you himself, and many would consider you a contender for the throne when he goes into torpor (vampiric hibernation) along with his actual childe, the rebel Theodosia (Alison).

However, when you are in a “state”, your personality changes drastically. Your visions cloud your judgment and often your opinions (particularly about key people in your life) reverse themselves. Much to your disdain, you also find yourself acting more child-like.

When you are lucid, you can be quite persuasive. As long as someone does not completely disagree with you, you can get them to agree with you on a topic as long as the conclusion doesn’t harm them (i.e. you can’t convince them that their best friend is a killer). You may use this ability three times.

Animalism – ΟΟΟ

 You can find one clue by calling on an adorable animal to help you. You can use this power twice.

Dominate –  ΟΟ

You can force one person to perform a single simple action that does not cause them harm. Can be used to interrupt other powers (Auspex, Majesty, Nightmare). You can use this power twice.

Resilience – Ο

You can take a blow from another fighter without feeling it. You can use this power once.

 

SPECIAL

Visions – You can induce visions of startling clarity (though their meaning may not always be clear). Learn one secret or find one clue per vision. However, each time you use this power, you go into a fugue state, and when you return, you are not lucid (i.e. you should act insane). You may use this power twice.

THE ARISTOCRATS

The people you spend time the most time with.

Prince Sebastian Bell – Played by Nick. You see him as a father who dotes on you, except when you’re in one of your “states”. When that happens, he is a demon lord who must be destroyed. You have also recently learned he is your sire, but he is hiding this for some reason. As a result, when you saw his death, you decided not to warn him, hoping to use it as leverage to get him to tell you why he sired you and abandoned you only to look after you later.

Archbishop Jeremiah Marshal – Played by Mike. You don’t like him much, you think he may be planning to kill you.

Baroness Theodosia Bell – Played by Alison. A rival and a rebel, she is not fit to be a member of the aristocrats, but you play nice as she is the Prince’s childe. However, when you are in a “state”, she is a close friend.

Master Percival Lilly – Played by Will. Your brother when you were mortal, you were sired by different vampires. When you’re lucid, he is a disgrace to the family name. When you’re in a “state”, he is your best friend.

Dr. Winnifred Vimes – Played by Leah (see also Missus Rowena Ratchet). She seems like a cross between your mother and your evil step-mother. At times, she is a kind mother, but at others she acts like she hates you.

 Dr. Aloysius Helminck – Played by Eric. He’s almost as mad as you, which makes you hate him. You tolerate his presence because he is an aristocrat.

THE COMMONERS

You’re not supposed to like the rabble, but sometimes it’s important to have pets.

Baron Zemo – Played by Jason. An intimidating man who plays at being a noble. His airship is worth putting up with him though.

The Dead Rook – Played by JJ. Another man who thinks he’s above his station in life.

Siobahn Flaherty – Played by Nicky. She is secretly a friend. She also has ties to your brother Percival, which annoys you, but you know she’s just using him as a pawn.  What you don’t know is what the game is.

Lottie Lockheart – Played by Michelle. Another of your friends when you’re slumming it. You like to listen to her stories.

Missus Rowena Ratchet – Played by Leah (see also Doctor Winnifred Vimes).  A brute, pure and simple.

Phoebe Stumps – Played by Ryn. Who? Oh, the girl fancies herself a detective. She’s interesting in a way.

The Amazing Alice Crow – Played by Annie. You are indifferent to her, but she hates you for your visions.

Colin Wickham - Played by Other Nick. A merchant and trader who uses his contacts to collect useful bits of information. He spends a great deal of time trying to curry favor with the Aristocrats.
