DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU ARE PLAYING THIS CHARACTER

Clan: Ventrue

Covenant: Ordo Dracul

Affiliation: Aristocrat

Personality: As a mortal scientist, you were interested in overcoming weaknesses like tuberculosis and blindness. As a vampire, you were freed of these concerns, but saddled with a new set of imperfections such as your vulnerability to the sun and dependence on a hard to procure food source. You know that you are the brilliant scientific mind destined to overcome these weaknesses. It is your destiny to free yourself and Kindrredkind of these curses and you will accomplish this goal by any means necessary. All else is a mere distraction. Your experiments have gained you both fame and notoriety, but you care little for such things.

SKILLS

Academics – You are well-educated, and have a firm grasp on matters of academics. If there is a piece of academic information you need, you can learn it (ask the storyteller). You may use this ability three times.

Science – You are a man of science. You can analyze compounds.

Medicine – You can heal wounds. If someone is injured, they can come to you to be healed. It will take you 10 minutes to heal them.

DISCIPLINES

Dominate –  You can force one person to perform a single simple action that does not cause them harm. Can be used to interrupt other powers (Auspex, Majesty, Nightmare). You can use this power five times.

SPECIAL

Mad Scientist – You have a special Dominate ability. Instead of commanding others, you may inject them with one of your potions and make them forget it happened. You may choose one of the following compounds, but each can only be used once. The descriptions below outline what you believe will happen to the subject upon injection.

First Syringe – This compound is meant to calm the Beast inside each Vampire. After injection, you expect the subject to be extremely calm and docile for the next 5 minutes.

Second Syringe – This compound is meant to simulate some of the natural mind-control powers of Vampires. You expect the subject to change dramatically in personality (e.g. a person who is very loud becomes quiet or a person who is very vulgar becomes polite and refined) for five minutes after injection.

Third Syringe – This compound is a paralytic, meant for mortals. You’ve already tested it on humans successfully, but you want to see what it will do to a vampire. Based on prior tests, you think the subject will be frozen in place for five minutes, unable to move or speak.

Fourth Syringe – This compound is meant to approximate some of the emotion-control powers of vampires. You believe the subject will intensely love the next person he or she sees for the next five minutes and feel compelled to show his or her affections.

Fifth Compound – This compound is your gift to the Prince and is in an atomizer bottle. You believe this compound will double the subject’s strength

Connections and Opinions:

THE ARISTOCRATS -  Simpletons.

Prince Sebastian Bell – Played by Nick. He’s alright, but he’s no scientist. You can’t wait to inject him.

Archbishop Jeremiah Marshal – Played by Mike. Mostly indifferent. His reliance on religious superstition is irritating.

Lady Vertiline Lilly – Played by Katie. She claims to have visions and seems quite mentally disordered. You wonder what might happen if you injected her with a potion

Baroness Theodosia Bell - Indifferent.

Master Percival Lilly – Played by Will. Completely worthless.

Dr. Winnifred Vimes – Played by Leah. Your colleague. She also works on compounds that are related to vampiric blood. She’s let you know her latest project is an attempt to make vampires more resistant to fire.

THE COMMONERS

The riff-raff.

Baron Zemo – Played by Jason. Indifferent.

The Dead Rook – Played by JJ. Indifferent.

Siobahn Flaherty – Played by Nicky. Indifferent.

Lottie Lockheart – Played by Michelle. Indifferent.

Missus Rowena Ratchet – Played by Leah. Indifferent.

Phoebe Stumps – Played by Ryn. Intelligent, but she needs to focus more on science.

The Amazing Alice Crow – Played by Annie. A magician? You wonder what a potion might do to her.

Colin Wickham - Played by Other Nick. Who?

SECRETS

You are regularly in the habit of testing your potions on the rest of the Kindred, without their knowledge.

You moved here from Paris five years ago after inadvertently causing the death of the Seneschal there when one of your potions went wrong. No one there or here knows this.

GOALS

Inject as many people as possible.

Convince the Prince and other important decision-makers of the importance of your research (and the need for additional funding).

Convince Phoebe Stumps to spend less time on investigating trivial matters and more time on science.

Make sure no one finds out about your injections.
